Our Story - Flip This House

In 2015, Meghan helped my husband and I buy our first home in West Des Moines. After seeing a few options and not finding the perfect fit (my list of wants was long), she introduced us to an investor that flipped houses. And then we were customizing our own home. It was like the Des Moines version of Flip this House, except it came with the fun of designing a custom home and the stress that actually can go along with it; that part they don’t show on HGTV! Meghan flipped a switch during construction and knocked an electrician off a ladder, so it came with laughs too.

I fell in love with the entire process, from brainstorming with Pinterest boards to picking out all the tiny finishing details. Some people find it intimidating, but this is where I really fell in love with real estate. Customizing something with your personal touch is really special and I’m loving helping clients find a new home they can make uniquely theirs.
